BOOKSCHESTER STOOL

This deeply carved Cherry Stool was commissioned by a couple  to sit at their dictionary stand.

 A thick plank of Cherry wood is hand carved into a seat. Round tenons of the front legs pierce the seat, wedged into place with walnut wedges.

The square tapered legs are curved into a graceful arch. The backrest is curved and bowed to fit the back. A foot rest provides a place to rest the feet on this tall stool.
